Not as decoration, as the point.<\/p>\n<p>Caterers served jollof rice and asaro from chafing dishes. Skincare makers laid out oils and balms. Bakers brought cake. Stylists did nails between sets. People who normally sell through a phone number and a WhatsApp status had a table, a banner and a queue.<\/p>\n<h2>What a table can do<\/h2>\n<p>A stall at a community event is often the first time a small business is seen by people outside its own network.
