The hardest part of arriving is not the paperwork. It is not knowing anyone.

Arrive as a guest, not a case file

Services can hand you a form. They cannot hand you a network. That is the gap we work in.

Come to a gathering and you will meet people from your own community and from well outside it. You will find out how things actually work here, from people who arrived a year or ten years ago. You will leave with names, numbers and somewhere to go next month.

  • Community gatherings where newcomers arrive as guests
  • Introductions to people who made the same move recently
  • Local knowledge: schools, work, housing, transport and winter
  • Pathways into volunteering, leadership and local decision-making
  • Family-friendly events, so nobody has to find a babysitter first
