Bridge Alliance Canada respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it and what we do with it.
What we collect
We only collect the information you choose to send us through a form on this site. Depending on the form, that may include your name, email address, phone number, city, organisation or business details, and whatever you write in the message field.
Like most websites, our hosting provider also records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited. This is used for security and to understand how the site is used.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiry
- To organise volunteering, partnerships, donations and vendor participation
- To publish a business directory listing, where you have asked us to and given consent
- To send you news about events and opportunities, if you signed up for our mailing list
Who can see it
Form submissions are sent to info@bridgealliancecanada.org and stored in this website. They are read by Bridge Alliance Canada volunteers and staff who need them to do the above. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Business directory listings are published on this website because you asked us to publish them. Nothing else you send is published without your agreement.
Mailing list
If you subscribe to our mailing list you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us.
Cookies
This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and may use cookies to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for as long as we need them for the purpose you sent them, and then delete them. Directory listings stay up until you ask us to remove them.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@bridgealliancecanada.org and we will action it.
